FIAT stands for Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino. The brand has a long history, having been founded on July 11, 1899 in Turin as a manufacturer of automobiles, to then develop its business in many other sectors, giving life to what would become the most important Italian private financial and industrial group of the twentieth century.
