#GiuseppeBusso

Giuseppe Busso (Turin, 27 April 1913 – Arese, 3 January 2006) was an Italian automotive engineer and one of Alfa Romeo’s most influential post-war technical figures. After early work at Alfa Romeo and a period at Ferrari in the late 1940s, he returned to Alfa Romeo, where he contributed to the development of both competition and production cars. His work covered engines, transmissions, chassis and experimental engineering, and included major involvement in the technical evolution of models such as the 1900, Giulietta and Giulia. He is best remembered for the all-aluminium V6 engine introduced in 1979 and widely known as the “Busso” V6, which remained in production in various forms for more than two decades.

We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
