From 28th November 1939
to 1st December 1972
Owner: Pietro Paolo Mastrangelo (IT)
Purchase price: 25.000 lire
Note: He is believed to have been a party official who, probably, wanted to keep the Duce's car, in the spirit of emulation, typical of that period. There are no informations on him. Hostilities having by now begun, he had the car painted in a more cautious army green, covering the shiny red colour. During the war he kept it hidden, afraid that it might be recognized. The car remained in his ownership until the 1960s when, after his death, it was inherited by his relatives in a neglected state.

Owner: Luigi Fittipaldi (IT)
Purchase price: 500.000 Lire
Famous owner: Dr. Luigi Fittipaldi was a pioneering motoring historian, collector, and plastic surgeon. An enthusiast and “connoisseur”, he was author of the essay "Tutte le ‘Alfa’ di Mussolini". He found and acquired the car with chassis no. 700635, at that time located near Cinecittà, in Rome. He reconstructed the history of this car and, with an acute sense of history, restored it. The car lost its drab military green and returned to the bright red of the parade period. It remained in his ownership until, exactly 50 years after the end of WW2, it was sold.

He drove the Mussolini’s 6C at the Mille Miglia in 1996.
