#BindoMaserati

Bindo Maserati was an Italian automotive engineer and businessman, best known as one of the Maserati brothers and a longtime manager at Maserati. Born in Voghera, he began his career as a mechanic at Isotta Fraschini, where he worked from 1910 to 1932 alongside his brother Ettore Maserati. Unlike his brothers Alfieri, Ernesto, and Ettore, who founded the Maserati company in Bologna in 1914, Bindo did not initially take part in the venture. He officially joined the company only in 1932, following the death of his brother Alfieri, taking on managerial responsibilities within the firm. In 1937, the Maserati company was sold to Adolfo Orsi, and in 1940 it was relocated to Modena. Bindo, along with Ernesto and Ettore, continued working at Maserati under contract until 1947. Once their agreement expired, the three brothers returned to Bologna, where they established a new enterprise: O.S.C.A. (Officine Specializzate Costruzione Automobili) – Maserati, dedicated to the design and manufacture of lightweight sports and racing cars.

We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
