#GioachinoColombo

Gioachino Colombo (Legnano, 9 January 1903 - Milan, 24 April 1987) was an Italian designer. He began his career at Alfa Romeo where, thanks to his contribution to the development of the 6C models, he was promoted to head of the technical office of the touring and racing car departments. In 1937 he moved to the Ferrari team where he was instrumental in the development of the"Colombo" V12 engine. He later returned to Alfa Romeo, before moving on to Maserati.

We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
