The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) is a U.S.-based automobile club and sanctioning body that organizes and promotes road racing, rallying, and autocross across the country. Founded in 1944, the SCCA has played a central role in developing American motorsport by providing a framework for both amateur enthusiasts and professional competitors. Over the decades, it has sanctioned numerous national championships and iconic events, fostering grassroots participation while also serving as a stepping stone for drivers who advanced to international racing careers.
We'll tell the story of this club on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
