Leonardo Fioravanti (Milan, January 31, 1938) is an Italian designer, engineer and entrepreneur. A graduate in mechanical engineering with a specialization in aerodynamics, he joined Pininfarina in 1964, where he worked for twenty-four years, becoming Director of the Research and Development Centre and later General Manager. Fioravanti was responsible for the design and aerodynamic development of several landmark Ferraris, including the Daytona, Berlinetta Boxer, 308 GTB, 512 BBi, and Testarossa. His approach combined engineering precision with stylistic innovation, introducing aerodynamic efficiency as a defining element of Ferrari’s form language. In 1991 he founded Fioravanti Srl, an independent design and engineering consultancy, continuing his work across the automotive and industrial sectors.
