The project is under the patronage of the Automobile Club Brescia.
The Mille Miglia was an open-road endurance race which took place in Italy twenty-four times from 1927 to 1957 (thirteen before the war, eleven from 1947). From 1953 until 1957, the Mille Miglia was also a round of the World Sports Car Championship.
It is underway the global census of all the Mille Miglia cars. For each one it is realized a specific website with all the details about its “sport life”, showing documents, pictures, videos, press review and much more.
AUTOMOTIVE MASTERPIECES believes in making the motoring heritage openly accessible in a digital way, to promote the exchange of ideas and knowledge as well as through exhibitions. There will be few ways to log onto the extra content of each car.
