#JollyClub

The Jolly Club was an Italian motorsport team established in 1957 by Mario Angiolini in Milan. It participated in various disciplines, including the World Rally Championship (WRC), the European Touring Car Championship, and even Formula One, collaborating closely with Alfa Romeo, Lancia, and Fiat. The team became known for its iconic Totip-sponsored cars, featuring distinctive orange and green liveries, and also received support from brands like FINA, Martini & Rossi, and Repsol. Jolly Club achieved significant success in rallying, securing victories in the 1980 Sanremo Rally with Walter Röhrl in a Fiat 131 Abarth, and helping Alex Fiorio win the 1987 Production WRC title in a Lancia Delta HF 4WD. It also dominated the European Rally Championship, with Miki Biasion (1983) and Dario Cerrato (1985, 1987) claiming titles in Lancia cars. The team was a force in the Italian Rally Championship, where Gianfranco Cunico won three consecutive titles (1994-1996) driving a Ford Escort RS Cosworth. After ceasing operations in 2000, the Jolly Club name was revived in 2007 with a focus on supporting historic and modern rally cars while promoting motorsport activities.
