#EagleMountainRaceway

Eagle Mountain Raceway, located at the Fort Worth National Guard base in Texas, was a temporary road course used in the 1950s for SCCA national sports car races. The circuit was laid out on the runways and service roads of the airfield and became a regular stop on the American racing calendar of the era. It hosted major drivers and teams, including John Edgar’s Porsche 550 Spyders with Jack McAfee at the wheel, and contributed to the rapid growth of sports car racing in the United States during the postwar years.
