Record:
Restoration - Comprehensive five-year restoration undertaken in a philological spirit, directly supervised by Francesco Cervadoro and entrusted to local specialists, with the workshop of Saverio Ranieri in Catanzaro serving as its operational base. The body was stripped and repainted by Gaetano Curcio in what was believed to be its original beige, although the result was executed in a darker shade (Max Meyer 12010). The electrical system was completely remade in Soverato by Turi Arcidiacono according to the original diagrams. The transmission was rebuilt in Guardavalle by Bruno Iorfida. The upholstery was retrimmed in leather in Siderno by the Pedullà firm. The soft top was remade using fabric supplied by Trinchero and a frame supplied by Cappa. The instruments were overhauled by the Fratelli Margiotta in Rome, while the brightwork was restored by Otello Santoni, also in Rome. Cavallitto of Turin is mentioned in connection with the engine rebuild, although he may in fact have supplied only the parts. The car was finally reassembled and restarted in Soverato, in the workshop of Ciccio Sinopoli.
