#SkipHudson

Skip Hudson (1930–2017) was an American racing driver active in the 1950s and 1960s, particularly on the West Coast sports car scene. He competed in SCCA events with John Edgar’s team and became known for driving Porsche 550 Spyders as well as other European machinery. Hudson appeared at venues such as Pomona, Santa Barbara, and Riverside, often racing alongside or against drivers like Jack McAfee, Richie Ginther, and Ruth Levy. Though less widely known than some of his contemporaries, he was a respected privateer whose performances contributed to the growth of American sports car racing in its formative years.
