#RAC

The Royal Automobile Club (RAC) is one of the oldest and most prestigious motoring organizations in the United Kingdom, founded in 1897. Originally established to support the development and interests of British motorists, the RAC became a central institution in the regulation and promotion of automotive competitions, road safety, and touring. It played a pivotal role in organizing landmark events such as the first British motor races and the historic RAC Tourist Trophy, the oldest continually awarded prize in world motorsport. Headquartered in London and famous for its Pall Mall clubhouse, the RAC was also the UK’s authority for issuing racing licenses and administrating national competitions until the creation of the Motor Sports Association (now Motorsport UK). While today it is also associated with roadside assistance services (as a separate commercial entity), the Club continues to represent British motoring heritage and remains a prominent supporter of historic automotive events. https://www.royalautomobileclub.co.uk/
