#PieroSodano

Piero Sodano was an Italian rally co-driver active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He partnered with several leading drivers of the Lancia racing department, including Sergio Barbasio and Amilcare Ballestrieri, contributing to the marque’s strong presence in both national and international events. With Barbasio, he achieved notable results such as 3rd overall at the 1971 Sanremo Rally and 3rd at the 1971 999 Minuti Rally. Though less renowned than figures like Mario Mannucci or John Davenport, Sodano was part of the select group of navigators who supported Lancia’s competitive efforts during the formative years of its rally dominance.
