#MessinaColleSanRizzo

The Messina–Colle San Rizzo Hillclimb was a regional motorsport event held in the 1950s in northeastern Sicily. The course climbed from the outskirts of Messina into the Peloritani Mountains, along a winding road with tight corners and consistent elevation changes. It was considered a demanding race, especially suited to lightweight sports cars and skilled local drivers. Among the notable victories was that of Luigi Bordonaro in 1955, who drove a Ferrari 750 Monza to class and overall success. The event stood among several key hillclimbs that shaped Sicily's postwar racing landscape.
