John Eric George “Jack” Fairman (1913–2002) was a British racing driver and test engineer, active in Formula One, sports-car and endurance racing from the 1940s to the early 1960s. Known for his mechanical knowledge, reliability and experience as a development driver, he competed for teams including H.W.M., Connaught, BRM and Cooper. In Formula One he scored World Championship points with Connaught in 1956, while in sports-car racing he appeared regularly in major British and international events, including Le Mans, the RAC Tourist Trophy and Goodwood. His combination of technical understanding and consistent racecraft made him a valued driver for both competition and development work.
