#GiorgioAcutis
Giorgio Acutis was an Italian racing driver active over a long period, beginning in the 1950s. He competed three times in the Mille Miglia during its final editions in 1955, 1956 and 1957, when the event was part of the World Championship calendar. His best result came in 1956, when he drove an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce to an impressive 42nd place overall. During the 1960s he continued to appear at major international events, including the Coppa Inter-Europa at Monza, the Coppa Città di Enna, the Targa Florio and the ADAC 1000 km Rennen at the Nürburgring. From the 1980s onward, he remained involved in the world of racing, sports and prestige automobiles as a mediator and collector.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
