#GaraAutomobilisticaSorrentoSantAgata
The Sorrento–Sant’Agata hillclimb was a regional road competition held on the Sorrentine Peninsula, connecting the coastal town of Sorrento with the hilltop village of Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi. The course followed a winding and technically demanding uphill route overlooking both the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. Run over 25 editions between 1923 and 1967, it was open to Gran Turismo and production-based cars and formed part of the dense network of Italian hillclimbs that characterised post-war motorsport, attracting numerous gentleman drivers competing at regional and national level.
