STARTING POINT
The case of the 1951 Lancia Aurelia B20 GT, (Pinin Farina), chassis no. B20-1246, is that of a vehicle for which there was no research. The searches start on the occasion of the sale of the car at the famous "2000 Ruote" auction where no race was highlighted.

RESEARCH
Our research, thanks to the elaboration of the material obtained from the museum archives, from the vintage press and from the photographic archives, is able to identify and validate an important sporting history: four participations in the Mille Miglia and four in the Coppa d'Oro delle Dolomiti and other Italian races. Thanks to sharing on the web and a network that follows us, a source of fruitful exchanges, we have also come to the discovery of two exceptional foreign races, the Jugoslovanska Alpska Voznja and the Internationales Auto - Und Motorradbergrennen am Loiblpass. The search is completed by the acquisition of the family album of the Pozzato, former owners of the car. This work, carried out "pre-auction", was done to provide information to the customer: another of our services.
