Wilhelm Albrecht was a Porsche executive and a member of the team involved in the development of the Porsche 901/911. As head of purchasing, he played an important role in coordinating suppliers and production planning for the new model, including negotiations concerning body-production facilities and outside manufacturing partners such as Reutter, Karmann and Karosseriewerke Weinsberg. He was also part of the Porsche delegation that reviewed early 901 prototype bodies in 1962.
