He is a racing driver. Son of Igino Patamia, driver with Bugatti in the late twenties and early thirties and then Steward FIA-CSAI, debuted in 1969 at the Coppa Belmonte in Avola on a Lancia Fulvia Coupe 1.2. In 1969 he won the social championship reserved to the driver of Scuderia Aspromonte Reggio Calabria. In 1972 and 1973 he ran the Targa Florio.
