Identification document: You have written the following which is either inaccurate or unsure so I would request that you correct as I have written in brackets (). possibly due to damage (there is no proof of this so I would not suggest there was damage), it was repainted in a more classic Rosso and fitted with “Daytona”-style seats, an option available only from 1972. The original engine #0006806 was replaced at the same time in the early 1970's with #0007538 from Chassis #01998, a car that has not existed since the early 70's, possibly suggesting a swap at that time with 0007538 from Chassis #01998. Interestingly, both 01532 and 01998 were sold new at the same dealership Crepaldi, in Milan Italy suggesting the swap. 01998 no longer exists and quite possibly was damaged and the engine was transferred to 01532. The gearbox is 689M with identifier 607-R-17/62 is original to #01532. Both engine and gearbox are consistent with the M series, though the engine 0007538 is from chassis 01998 and therefore from a slightly later M series chassis than that from chassis number 01532.
