#VincenzoGargano
Italian racing driver active in the 1970s, Vincenzo Gargano was mainly associated with Alfa Romeo sports prototypes entered by private teams after their factory careers with Autodelta. He frequently partnered with Bruno Ottomano, driving the ex-works Alfa Romeo 33 TT 3 in Italian national events such as the Targa Florio, Vallelunga 400 km, and various hillclimbs including Cefalù–Gibilmanna and Fasano. Known for his consistency and reliability, Gargano helped extend the competition life of several Autodelta-built cars in the Italian racing scene of the mid-1970s.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
