#SouthernFestivalOfSpeed
The Southern Festival of Speed is a New Zealand historic and classic motor-racing series traditionally held in the South Island. Established in 1989 with the revival of the historic Dunedin street circuit, it developed into a multi-event festival combining circuit races, street races, hill climbs and road-going transfers between venues. Its programmes have included meetings at circuits such as Ruapuna, Levels and Teretonga, together with events in and around Dunedin and Queenstown, and have regularly attracted overseas competitors as well as leading New Zealand historic-racing cars.
We'll tell the story of this event on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
