Italian racing promoter and collector, Sergio Peroni (1949–2021) was best known as the founder of Peroni Race Group, organizer of the Gruppo Peroni Race and several Italian series for historic and formula cars. A passionate enthusiast of Alfa Romeo competition cars, he collected important ex-Autodelta prototypes, including a 33 TT 3 later certified by the Registro Italiano Alfa Romeo. Active in Italian motorsport since the 1970s, Peroni became one of the most respected figures in the preservation and promotion of historic racing in Italy.
