Sergio Marchionne (Chieti, June 17, 1952 - Zurich, July 25, 2018) was a Canadian-born Italian business executive. He is internationally known for having led the profound renewal of FIAT. He has held important roles in the Fiat group: he was managing director of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V., FCA Italy and FCA US, of which he was also president. He also served as president of CNH Industrial N.V. and Ferrari N.V., as well as President and CEO of Ferrari S.p.A.. In 2011 he was included by the US periodical Time in the annual list of the hundred most influential people in the world, ranking 51st. He was also a vice president of Exor N.V. and permanent member of the Giovanni Agnelli Foundation, Chairman of the Board of ACEA (builders' association) for the year 2012 and member of the Board of Peterson Institute for International Economics, as well as co-chairman of the Council for Relations between Italy and the United States.
