Paolo Niccolai was one of the figures active in Giotto Bizzarrini’s Livorno operation during the company’s formative years. Recalled in later accounts as a young draughtsman who joined Bizzarrini in the summer of 1963, he remained linked to that world through both professional work and personal memory. Rather than a headline designer in the conventional sense, Niccolai appears as one of the technically involved collaborators who belonged to the working environment in which Bizzarrini’s cars took shape.
