Paolo “Lino” Guaschino was an Italian footballer, born in Casale Monferrato on October 4, 1929, who played as a left-back. He came through the youth system of Alessandria and made his Serie B debut with the first team during the 1948–1949 season, becoming a regular player for I Grigi. After three seasons with Alessandria, including the club’s relegation to Serie C, he moved to Marzotto Valdagno, then newly promoted to Serie B, where he played for three consecutive seasons. He later continued his career with Bolzano in Serie C and Foggia in IV Serie. Over the course of his career, he made around 67–68 appearances in Serie B, according to the available sources.
