The lead engineer behind the Delahaye Type 135, Jean François joined the company in 1932 and oversaw the design of the new generation of chassis, suspension and powertrains. His work culminated in the creation of the 135 and its variants, including the 135 S, which became Delahaye’s most celebrated and competitive model. François was a key figure in Delahaye’s technical renaissance.
