#IanCameron
Ian Cameron (born in Scotland in 1959) is a British automotive designer who worked at Pininfarina during the late 1970s and 1980s, contributing to several projects for Ferrari and other manufacturers. Trained in transportation design, Cameron was part of the international generation of designers integrated into Pininfarina’s creative studios in Cambiano, collaborating on concept development and exterior detailing. His experience at Pininfarina coincided with the design evolution of models such as the Ferrari Mondial, 412, and early studies related to the Testarossa program. After his Italian period, Cameron joined BMW Group, where he became Design Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, overseeing the styling of landmark models including the Phantom VII. His career reflects the cross-cultural exchange between Italian design tradition and modern industrial design management.
