Histoires extraordinaires, released in Italy as Tre passi nel delirio and in English as Spirits of the Dead, is a 1968 Franco-Italian anthology film inspired by Edgar Allan Poe. Directed in three episodes by Roger Vadim, Louis Malle and Federico Fellini, it includes Fellini’s Toby Dammit, starring Terence Stamp, one of the film’s most visually and culturally memorable segments.
