The Grand Prix de l’Automobile Club de France—known as the French Grand Prix—was established in 1906 and became the most prestigious motor race in Europe. Organized by the A.C.F., it was held at various circuits such as Le Mans, Reims, Montlhéry and others. The event attracted leading manufacturers like Bugatti, Alfa Romeo, Delahaye, Talbot and Maserati, and crowned champions of speed and engineering in pre-war and early post-war eras.
We'll tell the story of this event on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
