#GoodwoodSussexTrophy
The Sussex Trophy was a prominent sports car race held at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in the 1950s, named after the county in which the track is located. Originally part of the British national racing calendar, the event featured some of the most competitive sports-racing cars of the era, including models from Jaguar, Ferrari, Aston Martin and Maserati. It attracted top drivers such as Stirling Moss, Roy Salvadori and Tony Brooks, and showcased high-performance machines in the 2.0 to 3.0-litre classes. Today, the Sussex Trophy lives on as one of the headline races at the Goodwood Revival, reserved for late-1950s World Championship sports cars, echoing the golden era of British endurance racing on one of its most iconic circuits.
