Giampiero Biscaldi (September 2, 1937 – November 6, 2014) was an Italian sports car racer active during the 1960s. Known for his versatility, he competed in endurance races, hill climbs, and road events with Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Porsche, and Scuderia Sant’Ambroeus. He participated multiple times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, achieving a best result of 15th overall in 1964 with an Alfa Romeo Giulietta TZ. In 1965, he was signed by Enzo Ferrari and raced factory-entered 275 P2 and 275 GTB models. He later drove for Luigi Chinetti’s NART team before joining Alfa Romeo’s Autodelta squad in 1968, finishing sixth overall at Le Mans in a T33/2. Biscaldi also won the 1967 Targa Florio in a Porsche 910 and claimed class victories at events like the Mugello Circuit. Though not active in Formula 1, he was widely respected in the international sports car scene for his consistency, speed, and adaptability.
