The Floyd Bennett Sports Car Race was an SCCA sports-car meeting held at Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, New York, in the early 1950s. It formed part of the rapidly expanding American road-racing scene of the period and attracted a varied field of privately entered European and American sports cars. The 1953 edition included several races for different categories, culminating in the Grand Prize Cup, the meeting’s principal event.
