Federico Fellini was one of the defining filmmakers of post-war Italian and world cinema. Celebrated for a visionary style blending memory, satire, dream, spectacle and autobiography, he directed landmark works such as La strada, La dolce vita, 8½, Giulietta degli spiriti and Amarcord. Winner of four Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film and an honorary Oscar, he remains one of the most influential directors in film history.
