#FIAWorldSportscarChampionship

The FIA World Sportscar Championship was the main international championship for sports cars, GTs and prototypes before the modern World Endurance Championship era. In 1963 it was structured around the International Championship for GT Manufacturers and the International Trophy for GT Prototypes, with separate divisions by engine capacity. The season included major endurance races such as the 12 Hours of Sebring, Targa Florio, Nürburgring 1000 Kilometres and 24 Hours of Le Mans, alongside shorter GT races, hillclimbs and the Tour de France Automobile.
