#ElioZagato
Elio Zagato (Milan, 27 February 1921 – Milan, 14 September 2009), son of Ugo Zagato and brother of Gianni Zagato, was an Italian designer, entrepreneur and racing driver. He joined the family coachbuilding company after the Second World War and played a central role in its development, combining direct competition experience with the design and construction of lightweight sports and grand touring cars. Under his leadership, Zagato strengthened its associations with manufacturers including Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth, Aston Martin and Maserati, while establishing many of the stylistic and technical principles that defined the marque during the post-war period.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
