Eberhard Stortz was a Porsche race mechanic and a member of the development team responsible for the Porsche 901/911. He is documented among the specialists involved in the early development programme and was part of the broader technical group that helped bring the new model from prototype testing to production. His background in Porsche competition work also linked the road-car development programme with the company’s racing experience.
