#DunlopJubilee
The Dunlop Jubilee International Car Race was a significant one-day race meeting held at Brooklands on 24 September 1938, organized by the Dunlop Rubber Company to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Conducted on both the Outer Circuit and the Campbell Road Course, the event featured a range of scratch and handicap races, including a highlight 20-mile Outer Circuit race known as the Dunlop Jubilee Cup. Winning entries included high-performance cars from Talbot, ERA, Delage, and Delahaye, with average speeds approaching 120 mph. Drawing a large spectator crowd and a prestigious field, the meeting stands as one of Brooklands’ most notable events in the lead-up to World War II.
We'll tell the story of this event on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
