#Delahaye135S

The Delahaye 135 S was the ultimate competition evolution of the Type 135, built between 1935 and 1937 in just sixteen examples. Designed for endurance racing and Grand Prix events, the 135 S featured a lowered, shortened chassis, uprated suspension, and a 3.6-litre inline-six engine producing up to 160 bhp. With dry-sump lubrication, triple carburetors and a lightweight frame, it was capable of over 180 km/h—exceptional for the period. Delahaye 135 S cars competed at the highest levels of international motorsport, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Spa 24 Hours, Donington 12 Hours, and the French Grand Prix. Driven by legends such as Albert Divo and Prince Bira, the model combined mechanical reliability with aerodynamic elegance. Today, the 135 S is one of the rarest and most revered pre-war French racing cars, embodying the peak of Delahaye’s sporting ambition.
