#CelsoStanguellini
Celso Stanguellini, the grandfather of Vittorio, founded the eponymous company (C. Stanguellini) in 1879, initially for the trade of musical instruments. The company achieved great success after studying and creating a device for tuning these instruments. This entrepreneurial spirit was passed on to his son Francesco, who in 1900, at just 21 years old, began the business of trading, renting, and building bicycles in the center of Modena. The allure of the engine was irresistible, but Francesco Stanguellini passed away at the age of only 53, and the company then fell into the hands of his son Vittorio, a young man with extraordinary intuition. Vittorio would dedicate the chassis numbers of the cars produced entirely in-house to the memory of his grandfather Celso, marking them "CS."
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
