#BrooklandsMeetings
A general tag referring to the many official and club-level race meetings held at Brooklands—the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit—during its active years between 1907 and 1939. These meetings included a wide variety of events such as scratch and handicap races, outer circuit sprints, road course challenges, and commemorative trophies organized by associations like the BRDC, JCC, BARC, and private sponsors. Though often lacking formal names, many of these gatherings became iconic due to the presence of gentleman drivers, manufacturers, and historic entries. Brooklands meetings were essential to the evolution of British motorsport culture in the pre-war period.
