#BrooklandsEasterMonday

The Easter Monday Meeting at Brooklands was a festive fixture of the British motor racing calendar in the 1930s, organized by the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC). Held on Easter Monday, it featured a full program of races—primarily scratch and handicap formats—on both the outer circuit and road course layouts. The event drew crowds and enthusiastic amateur entries and was among the last major race gatherings at Brooklands before the outbreak of the Second World War. The 1939 edition marked the final Easter Monday meeting at the circuit before it closed permanently to racing.
