Robert Geoffrey “Bobby” Verdon-Roe is a British racing driver from Winchester, active in single-seaters, touring cars, GTs, prototypes and historic racing. Winner of the 1991 Formula Renault Championship and the 1997 TVR Tuscan Challenge, he later raced in FIA GT, British GT and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In historic racing he became especially known for his McLaren outings in Historic Formula One and for major Goodwood appearances, including victory in the 2008 RAC TT Celebration with Peter Hardman. He is also the grandson of Sir Alliott Verdon Roe, the British aviation pioneer and founder of Avro.
