#BRDC
The British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC) is one of the most prestigious and influential motorsport organizations in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1928 by Dr. Dudley Benjafield, one of the “Bentley Boys,” the club was initially formed to represent and support British racing drivers. Its early years were closely linked to the Brooklands circuit, where the BRDC organized some of the most important endurance races of the interwar period, including the famous BRDC 500-Mile Race. Beyond racing promotion, the BRDC quickly evolved into an exclusive society for accomplished drivers. In the post-war era, the club became instrumental in the development of Silverstone as Britain’s premier racing venue and remains the owner of the circuit today. Membership in the BRDC is by invitation only and is reserved for drivers with proven success in international motorsport. The club has played a key role in preserving the heritage of British racing and continues to shape its future.
We'll tell the story of this organization on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
