#BMW328

The BMW 328 is a high-performance sports car produced between 1936 and 1940 by the German manufacturer BMW. Celebrated for its advanced engineering, lightweight construction, and dynamic handling, it achieved remarkable racing success, including class wins at the Mille Miglia, Le Mans, and the Eifelrennen at the Nürburgring. In 1999, it was ranked among the 25 most significant cars of the 20th century by an international panel of automotive journalists. After World War II, the design and mechanical layout of the 328 were adopted by the British manufacturer Bristol, which, following an agreement with BMW, began producing cars directly inspired by the German roadster—laying the groundwork for a new era of postwar British sports cars.
