Almo Bosato was a renowned Turin-based automotive tuner and mechanic, particularly celebrated for his work on Lancia vehicles during the 1950s and 1960s. His expertise and innovative approach significantly contributed to the early successes of Lancia's HF Squadra Corse racing team. Bosato's workshop, located in Turin, was instrumental in preparing and tuning Lancia models such as the Flaminia, Appia Sport, and notably the Flavia Coupé. His collaboration with Cesare Fiorio led to the development of competitive vehicles for various racing events, including hill climbs and rallies. Bosato's meticulous attention to detail and mechanical prowess earned him a reputation as one of the foremost Lancia specialists of his time. In addition to his work with Lancia, Bosato also contributed to the preparation of Fiat vehicles for competition.
