The Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider was introduced in 1962 as the 1.6-litre evolution of the Giulietta Spider. It retained the Pininfarina body and 2,250 mm wheelbase of the late Giulietta version, but adopted the Giulia’s 1,570 cc twin-cam engine and a five-speed gearbox. Produced until 1965, it formed a direct link between the Giulietta Spider and the entirely new Pininfarina-designed Alfa Romeo Spider introduced in 1966.
