AUTOMOTIVE MASTERPIECES partner of ArtDefeder for its event launch

Art Defender Motori officially started off. This special area has been conceived with the aim to provide a range of services to all collectors of automotive sector, in order to ensure safekeeping, conservation and enhancement throughout maintenance and exercise programs, fitting for refining, restoring and handling classic cars in a correct way.

 On the occasion of this opening-event, entitled “Dalle competizioni alle collezioni” (From competitions to collections) supervised by Alvise di Canossa, Art Defender Chairman, and Enrico Rondinelli, Art Defender Motori Consultant, there were four special guests who joined the “round table”: two Italian racing drivers, Mario Casoni and Dindo Capello, who talked about their motorsport experience at “24 Heures du Mans”, comparing two different generations of competitions in a double interview; Antonio Ghini, Enzo Ferrari Museum of Modena and Ferrari Museum of Maranello Director, who spoke about the evolution of classic car sector and Sandro Binelli, Automotive Masterpieces General Coordinator, who explained the importance AUTOMOTIVE MASTERPIECES project, dedicated to a worldwide census of rare classic cars.

Guests of honor at 4-wheels were:

♦️the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/2 sn: 75033014, driven by Mario Casoni at 24 Hours of Daytona, Targa Florio, Circuito Stradale del Mugello and other races in 1968. It has already been counted among the AUTOMOTIVE MASTERPIECES and, during the event, has been traced its history showing the website dedicated this amazing car:

The Audi R18 Ultra, driven by Dindo Capello during his last season in 2012.

 The Maserati A6GCS, Mario Casoni’s first racing car borrowed from his cousin, the driver Odoardo Govoni (after Mr. Casoni had competed with other vehicles, e.g. Ferrari 250 Le Mans, Dino 206S, Abarth SP2000, De Tomaso Pantera and Porsche 908).

 Housed in Art Defender Motori caveau, there were also other collectors’ items: Porsche 911 ST/RSR, driven by Odoardo Govoni at Targa Florio and Giro d’Italia; the unique OSCA 1600 GT2, designed by Michelotti; Abarth 750 Zagato, owned by Roosvelt team in USA; Lamborghini LP550 Valentino Balboni, come with its owner and official test driver from Sant'Agata Bolognese, and the last but not the least, the Bizzarrini 1900 GT Europa, which was the first test-driving prototype among only twelve produced.
